Peter Picataggio

Overseeing the management of all four Farmer’s Daughter Hotel Group properties including Surftides Lincoln City, Peter Picataggio brings his business savvy and creative approach to design a unique experience for his guests. Picataggio, an East Coast native, finds his lack of formal training to be one of the hotel group’s greatest strengths.

“We are lucky to have the freedom to create a more interesting and eclectic experience. My wife, Ellen and I are always hearing feedback about how staying at our hotels is so refreshing and unpretentious and I plan to keep it that way.”

Ellen Picataggio has the hospitality industry in her blood. Her family has been in the business since 1971, when they came to Las Vegas from their native Korea. Ellen joined the family business in ’99 with the first project: the re-branding the kitschy Hollywood icon, the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel.

Ellen’s is currently revamping Surftides Lincoln City and transforming it into one of Oregon’s premier boutique coastal properties. The experience continues to be the ideal opportunity for Ellen to synthesize her formal education with her heartfelt connection to the family business. Ellen reminisces, “My golden-childhood memories of Lincoln City are so dear to me that I’m excited to be able to share them with the world.”
