If you’re visiting Los Angeles and you’re looking for bit less glitz and glamour, yet still want a top notch hotel to stay in, consider the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel. It’s an unusual boutique hotel in that it sits along the border of the trendy West Hollywood nightlife, but has a country theme. It’s like visual comfort food; chicken fried steak for the eyes, if you will. It’s still a very comfortable place to stay in and will definitely appeal to tourists looking for a relatively unusual, but extremely cozy place to stay. Most people are used to the typical hotel experience, but this particular hotel is not that typical.

Of course, the Farmer’s Daughter Hotel has several elements in common with other hotels, but it presents them in a much different fashion. The usual suspects are there: wireless internet, 24 hour valet service, a swimming pool, Ping Pong Table, Small conference room space, etc. These sorts of things are the types of amenities found at virtually all the hotels in the marketplace. Doesn’t seem too special so far, right? However, the atmosphere-including the boutique hotel’s 66 rooms-are all decked out in a country home theme, and it makes each room seem a bit more special that way.

The rooms are decked out in décor with a clear country touch. The single and double rooms all have paintings of barnyard animals in them and a rocking chair in the corner. “Comfy” and “cozy” seem to be the words of the day around here. Also found in this boutique hotel are 2 deluxe “Farmers suites” with a private bedroom, kitchenette, and a sleeper sofa for extra guests. The “No Tell Room” is also available for couples who want a bit more privacy. There are mirrors on the ceiling, including above the bed. Let your imagination run wild with that!

The Farmer’s Daughter Hotel is a nifty boutique hotel that isn’t far from several favorite Hollywood attractions and well within walking distance from the usual tourist traps. The Tart Restaurant, located inside the hotel, serves up the actual comfort food to complement the visual comfort food the hotel provides through its theme and décor. Both the hotel and restaurant create a unique experience that you don’t usually find in a hotel located in such an urban setting. If you’re visiting Hollywood, it might be worth it to check the Farmer’s Daughter out.
